Ombudsman says Putin orders govt to develop 10–15 cluster project

MOSCOW, May 30 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to develop 10–15 cluster projects in the priority industries following a meeting with business ombudsman Boris Titov, Titov told PRIME on Thursday.

“At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, we will show a roadmap for development of the non-resource sector, which I presented to the president during our past meeting. He described it to (Prime Minister Dmitry) Medvedev and ordered to… develop 10–15 cluster projects in the priority industries,” he said.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held from June 6 through June 8.

Titov also said that Putin asked the government and the prosecutor’s office to consider the issue of excessive checks of Russian companies by the controlling bodies.
